Why do I give? …
After entering seminary and enrolling in a course on textual criticism, I began to see the Bible and the study of the Bible in a new way. For me, each of these manuscripts became a journey through history as I came to a progressively deeper appreciation for how the Bible traveled across time. I felt a kinship to the ancient scribes and modern scribes who seek to preserve the Biblical text for future generations. It was with this connection and calling that my wife and I began to support financially the Foundation in 2011. In addition, my proceeds from the book Grounded: Anchoring the Evangelical Sermon in Theological Doctrine are donated the New Testament Textual Studies Foundation. (continue reading)
